Co-founder and CEO of Boba Guys Inc. You know me for writing TED Talks about culture, branding, and pop culture. I dabble in angel investing. By that, I mean I give my friends money instead of buying Teslas.

In a past life, I was a product and brand marketer with traditional CPG brand management and tech marketing experience. The following is stuff I did in business because that’s what these bios are supposed to be about. I’d much rather talk about Transformers and Hamilton.

WORK LIFE

Started Vergence Media (interactive merchandising for e-commerce platforms) in 2006. Successfully funded and exited to Flipside Studios in 2011. Started Boba Guys and Tea People (food & beverage company) in 2011. Board member for The Daily Californian and National ACE. Active Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise, and Business blogger for Huffington Post. Newly-minted author at Penguin Random House.
